Those of you that know me, even a little, know
I'm nuts about my birds. For my birthday a couple days ago, I got a wonderful birthday present from my honey - Spike. No - not another bird!, I have close to 25 already. No - one of my favorites (or should I say the most socially accepted of the flock) Mumble, became immortalized in the form of drink coasters *insert really big grin*. Now before you think Spike mean, I asked for these - well maybe not specifically, but Spike knew I really liked the idea. They are made by a very creative friend on Etsy - Robin of NothingLikeIt.
From what I understand she enjoyed the cloak and dagger
efforts to keep me from finding out about these earlier. Spike is pretty well set on gifts for a while, since I still have 11 other large parrots, 2 dogs, a cat, and a roommate to be "immortalized".
Mumble is a 'Caique' - a little South American Parrot.
She goes everywhere with me - everywhere! - She wears a leash in public, not because she'll fly, (she hates flying), but because if someone holds their hand up, she'll get on them - ANYONE. Her favorite games include finger wresting, squeaky toy bashing, and pretending not to know those are your fingers under the covers.
Mumble Video on Flickr I love the coasters! Mumble doesn't, when I showed it to her, she just growled, and beat up one of her toys... Such a brat....
Thanks for visiting, stop back soon.......

The coasters are PERFECT Robin!!! You sneak :)) - Saw the 'fake' picture in feedback, and was stressing over how to tell Spike to lose it when he moves here :))
