Perri's Celtic Braid

This has to be one of the most satisfying projects I've done. - Perri's Celtic Braid Pendant Tutorial - I really could kick myself for not trying it sooner!!

The stone in the pendant is a 20mm by 15mm faceted Alexandrite, and not the stone I had started with. I started with a standard cab, but when I was forming the braid to the stone, I realized there was a wonky section in my braid, and it wouldn't play nice. After cutting out the bad section, the remainder fit this stone perfectly. I tried something different for the bail - Perri's Mobius Strip Earrings weave - the jury is still out on whether I like it or not. :)) I like the weave, I'm just not sure whether its fighting with the rest of the pendant.

There are a few boo boos here and there, so I can't sell it - oooohhh weeellll, guess I just have to keep it for myself. :)) Alexandrite is my favorite faceted stone, but a real pain to photograph with the color changes.
I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out - Thank you Miss Perri - I couldn't have done it without you!!!

Thank you for visiting..............

Hi Bobbi!

This is just AWESOME. Beautiful work, I cannot see any boo boos. Wish I could wrap like this...practice, practice, practice.

It's a shame you have to keep this for yourself! ;) It's lovely.

Miss Bobbi, your creativity makes everyone around you smile! This is simply beautiful, and combining the two techniques is genius! I second the condolences - too bad it couldn't be sold to another - my heart goes out to you!!!! LOL

Wow, neat work! I am hopeless at wirewrapping. You must have brilliant eyesight and a steady hand.
